Cali Wilson, 17, Miss Central Iowa's Outstanding Teen, won the title of Miss Iowa’s Outstanding Teen 2018. Cali attends Norwalk High School in Norwalk, Iowa.

Cali has been taking multiple advanced placement classes since her freshman year and scored in the top 5% of her class in Physical Science which allowed her to take advanced assignments.

Some of her accomplishments include: Teen National Miss Midwest Starz 2016; Midwest Starz Teen Grand National Solo Champion 2016; Solo winner at 2 national competitions per year since the age of 7; Dancer/actress in JoJo Siwa’s Boomerang music video filmed in Los Angeles, CA; Sugar and Bruno dancewear model; Over 500 regional solo wins since age 7; Breakout Artist scholarship winner at NUVO dance convention; Art spoken Dance Assistant; Team Hollywood Vibe Scholarship winner; accepted into the Joffrey Ballet School’s Ballet and Jazz Trainee programs; Bill Riley Talent Search Sprout Champion 2011. She has made it to the semi-final round of the Bill Riley Talent Search every year since the age of 6.

Interesting Facts: She loves to travel! Los Angeles is one of her favorite places in the entire world. Many people often ask if she was named after California, which she was not, but is ironic that her name is the beginning of the state she loves most to visit. She love animals, children, The Iowa State Fair, and spending time with family and friends.

Each contestant must have a Platform that has relevance in her community or society at large and about which she deeply cares.
A Miss Iowa’s Outstanding Teen contestant must be between the ages of 13 and 17 years old.
